I would like to share the team at LaBella of Danville took really good care of my uncle in his final moments. The nursing staff ensured that his needs were met. He was admitted in with Hospice Services, Transitions Hospice, (very amazing Hospice company), along with Transitions and the LaBella nurses ensure that he was comfortable up until his final moments! I appreciate the whole team, the nursing staff, dietary, activities, and housekeeping! Now he’s finally at peace!
Thank you from the Darnell Family! ❤️

Very rude and unprofessional staff! So much neglect. I honestly don't know how or why this facility is still operating. So much needs to be investigated! I would have given no stars but that wasn't an option. One can only hope that an investigation will be done as soon as possible!

I am giving one star as I cannot make a review if I don't put anything. We are visiting my mother-in-law and it's just a stinky place. Pee smell. I notice the bed table has the bottom part splitting off where I'm sure it's a nice space for germs to germinate. The walls need repainted. There is paint chipped off and it looks like areas where the paint has faded either from light exposure or brushing up against from furniture or people? The remote is very disgusting. I don't think it's ever been cleaned. Grimy grimy gross. The bed...I would not be surprised if this is original from 30 years ago. Pillows, yea, just as bad. A piece of marble in window seal is broken. Sigh. It's a sad place for sure where many are forgotten but sadder yet that they cannot live in a comfortable atmosphere if that is where they have to be. I pray I never end up in a place like this and if I did, I would hope that friends could come and sanitize the room at least. At this point, I would rather sleep outside than in that place. At least I could smell fresh air instead of constant scent of urine .
I will say that the lady at the front desk when we first came in was very friendly, very nice so, okay, the one star can be for her because she truly was the light of this unfortunate experience.

I stay at arcadia now. I've been here several moths and I can tell you this much, coming from a facilty in Chicago, this place is wonderful. I can go out when I want. The food could be better bur what ppl don't realize is the cook has to prepare meals for a wide range of patients so to prepare individualized meals isn't possible. The one thing i don't like is there is no activity room that offers treadmill or elliptical or even a stationary bike. All in all I'm pleased with arcadia. The nursing staff for the most is awesome, although everyone has different opinions. My view is treat everyone kindly and respectfully and usually you will get the same in turn....
So when i first got to Arcadia i didnt think it that bad. Ive been here over a year now and wow have things changed for me. One of the reasons i came here wss for their rehab and therapy. Ive yet to even have a conversation about it. Most of my medial appointments are made by myself being they rarely follow thru. I had an individual recently moved into my room that was in isolation. I was not in isolation. Once said individual got out of isolation the staff moved him from my room. I have an entire list of health problems one of which is a bout with sepsis of unknown origin. I truly feel azzif they intentionally put my health at risk from this individual. I asked the social worker on more than one occassion to move this individual and was told that its a nursing home and to deal with it. I wholeheartedly regret coming here and am doing all i can to get away. Since im berated for bringing up this and other issues from staff i can only imagine what will come of this updated review. I only pray i am out of here soon as well as other residents.
