  I visited this facility with my Dad. Kelly was very knowledgable, patient and understanding of our situation. She toured the entire facility with us and introduced us to staff and other residents. The facility was very nice and clean as well. I was impressed by the different levels of care available. We did not feel like it was a typical nursing home.

  We placed my dad at the facility just before Labor Day after a lot of long discussions and a visit to the facility. We left our visit feeling comfortable with our decision to choose Ramsey. And they have all the right answers to the care he would need. He has advised stage Parkinson’s with memory loss. He was placed in skilled/memory care…meaning he requires the most care and assistance. After not even 48 hrs he ended up admitted to the hospital. In visiting it was clear they were staffed and the staff in the unit admitted to that several times. Again we ended up in the ER with him a week after returning. He was actively bleeding due trauma caused catheterization. At one point a nurse asked my mom to show how she did it and she would teach the staff?!?! This lead to cussing by a staff member. This not even the half it but the worst of it. My family deserved better than this. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I hope the facility learns from these actions and makes correction. Don’t over sell and under delivery. These patients pay good hard money and deserve care, compassion and competency

  Absolutely uneducated and untrained in the memory care unit. My family member was there one day before they incorrectly placed his catheter causing significant bleeding and a two night stay in the hospital. Fast forward to today, 3:30 am AGAIN his catheter was incorrectly placed causing significant trauma and bleeding.. did they call the doctor, address the bleeding, or call an ambulance? Absolutely not. They chose to ignore it and leave him in the room to bleed. Nurses stated they knew he was bleeding and both overnights and days nurses did nothing. No one called us, we found out by coming to visit at 10:30 am when he was alone completely covered in blood. A staff member downplayed the situation, did not call for an ambulance, and cussed down the hallways. I had to call an ambulance who agreed this was something needing immediate attention due to blood loss. I asked nurses for their documentation and was advised "we do not do documentation". This is incredibly concerning given the amount of money they get from us. Side note: the nurses stated she didn't know how to place a catheter and requested us to show her how to so that she could teach the rest of the staff..... DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE.

  I had an automatic coffee pot in my room. Staff came in and took away, claiming patient safety. They said I could have coffee anytime I want. Unfortunately for me, that isn't true. Y was awake e@ 4am. The kitchen opens at 6am. I have bee

  I've been blown away by the compassionate care at Ramsey. We moved my sweet friend there after experiences with two other facilities. The contrast in the attitude of the staff was night and day. Ramsey took the time to know and understand my friend's needs as well as her preferences and personality. They shower her with the dignity she deserves - the dignity every human deserves. We're so grateful for Ramsey.
