A special visitor sacrament meeting at 8:30 am every Sunday. It was perfect. Out in less than an hour. Grateful to a handful of leaders, youth and music people to make a sacrament meeting available to island visitors. About 300 in attendance. Plan to get there early

Attending this beautiful church was a spiritual experience on this beautiful island. People in shorts and flip-flops, joined men in suits and ties and ladies in dresses. All are welcome.
Come and see what’s it’s like to be loved by God, and his son Jesus Christ.

Dec. 29, 2019 sacrament meeting. What a delightful surprise it was to see and hear Elder Rasband speak, in addition to two excellent talks. The force was strong with him, meaning the spirit of the Holy Ghost was strong with him and the light of Christ shone brightly from his face. Elder Rasband defined a seer, as a revelator and a prophet, one who knows the past, present and future. The First Presidency and Council of the twelve are sustained as prophets, seers and revelators. When Elder Rasband was first called as a Seventy, his trainer was Elder Eyring. He saw Elder Eyring exercise his calling as a seer, when he called a new Stake President in Vacaville, California.
He noted, “I bear you my testimony, in humility and sincerity, that the Lord Jesus Christ lives and that he is the head of our church, and the leadership of this church is no stranger to his voice.”
He spoke about the most often used command with a promise, in the Book of Mormon. He said, “I promise you, as did the ancients, that if you will keep the commandments, you will prosper in the land, and not just financially.” He said, “prosper is a full condition including your heart, your mind, your wellbeing and temporal conditions.”
