The school was fine but The director never really seemed happy. It was ok for the time being until we moved

My son is three years old and in Preschool 2. He just started on August 12th (beginning of school year). Not even a month into the school year, he gets bit in the face by a girl in his class. No phone call, just an accident report. Although, this was not an accident, it was intentional. An accident is if he falls and gets hurt. My son told me there was an altercation on the playground then she bit him. Why wasn’t this prevented if they were already arguing? I called the school as soon as my babysitter told me because I’m out of town. The director said there was a phone call home to her parents and a letter. That’s it! No disciplinary action, nothing. The excuse was this was her first time and it wasn’t necessary. Also, told Bright Horizons doesn’t discipline for physical abuse. Was told this happens and they keep information confidential of the abuser.

I am so happy with the care both of my daughters have received here. The teachers are so caring and have gone above and beyond my expectations. Their programming is also excellent. I can't believe how much my kids have learned going to Bright Horizons. The management is fantastic and is always available to answer questions and help with anything I have needed. I definitely recommend this place.
