I’ve been grateful and very satisfied with the care my toddler son has been receiving here on a temporary basis for drop-in/back-up care. I was in town visiting family and working from their house for a few weeks as a telecommuting employee. It’s too bad a Bright Horizons Center like this does not exist close to my residence. I would use this place again in the future if I need more drop-in care. I like that they send an email summary at the end of the day with details on what my child did for activities and learning.

Abusive staff and it led to an unresponsive infant.

I would not recommend this facility. The staff fluctuates tremendously and there is no stability for the children. There have been records of abuse and various other awful encounters. I recently removed my daughter from this school and placed her in a school with more structure and amazing curriculum and it has made the world of difference. My child went from being miserable and depressed at school to excited to attend her new school! She doesn’t have ANY of the issues that she had at Bright Horzons @ Tampa General. She loves the new teacher and there a ton of activities to do. My daughter was fine with BH @ Tampa General until she moved into the Kprep class. That class lacks structure, the teachers lack skills to teach the children boundaries and neither does management. I have personally witnessed the children getting into aggressive fights with other children and the teacher having no idea how to handle the situation. Almost every time, a situation would occur with my child, I would talk to her and find out that other children had been mistreating her and they would only catch on when my child was reacting to what had been done to her. My child lost trust in her teachers and that is not a safe environment for young children. I hope that they can find stability at this center as it was once a great place!

Beware of this site. I registered on the waiting list since December 2021, to start Summer of 2023. From my first email I clearly specified that my husband is an employee of TGH, they moved to an online website after I sign up on the list and requested 100 dollar registration fee (position on The list was supposedly going to be honored) I have been actively calling every 3-4 months to learn my status they kept saying we cannot guarantee anything yet, but you will likely get a spot. I found out last week they had me on a community list which has less priority, and while trying to reach out to get this fixed, all I get is no replies to my e-mails or calls, and when i was finally able to connect with Chelsea Landes, she hang up the phone on me “connection issues” and simply sent me an e-mail saying “sorry there won’t be a spot for you”. I requested to speak to a manager about this as obviously I was not treated professionally, when all I have been is professional and understanding of their small site and disorganized employee named above. Just keep an eye out so that you don’t waste 100 dollars easily. Also, they kept telling me to pay for my second child registration, as “I was likely going to have a chance since I sign up in 2021”, so glad I made the smart decision to wait and not waste going any more money on this center. Be very watchful about this team. I would not want my kids to be part of such an unprofessional and unethical team of employees. Hopefully the teachers are better than the administrative staff.
