I would not recommend this KinderCare location to any parent considering childcare for their child. My daughter was truly miserable at this center. Almost every day during pickup, there was a new issue — cuts on her face, marks on her legs, and tantrums that she had never shown before attending this school. My child is an only child, so these behaviors were not things she learned at home or around other children regularly. My daughter also caught Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease while attending this school. Before enrolling her here, I had never dealt with or even heard of that illness affecting children around us. It became very concerning to me how often children seemed exposed to sickness and unsanitary conditions within the center. Even at pickup time, it became obvious how uncomfortable she was there. She would run out of the classroom and would not even want to say goodbye to the staff. That alone spoke volumes to me as a parent. The center itself was also very concerning. It often smelled like dirty diapers were sitting out during pickup time, garbage would be left in classrooms, and the facility did not appear properly cleaned. The school is clearly understaffed and lacks properly trained teachers. There were days when I witnessed one teacher responsible for an extremely large group of children, and some mornings there would be one teacher trying to manage two classes completely alone. That is unacceptable for toddlers. I also have video evidence of a teacher recording children laying on a dirty play mat while two little boys ended up kissing instead of the teacher actively monitoring the children and preventing the situation from happening. That was very alarming to witness as a parent and showed a lack of supervision and professionalism in the classroom. Since leaving this center, my daughter is now attending a new school where she is surrounded by peaceful, happy, well-mannered children. She is learning, excited to go to school, and genuinely happy again. The difference has been night and day. If you are considering sending your child here, please do your research carefully. Just because the surrounding area is nice does not mean the childcare quality is good. In my opinion, this center seems more focused on accepting as many children as possible for tuition money rather than ensuring they have the staffing, training, and environment necessary to properly care for them. I paid my tuition on time every single week, but proper care and attention for the children should matter more than enrollment numbers.

Jennifer & ShaRhonda (sp?) have been the best day care directors I have encountered. I feel as though my child is safe, they are very attentive to details, and always contact me anytime there is a concern. Ms. Maria in the infant room is the best teacher. My son is almost 2, and has been out of her class room for almost a year, and still runs into her arms screaming “Ria! Ria!” Ms. Amanda and Ms. Christal in the toddler room are also amazing with my son. Highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a safe place that focuses on education.

After the results of the last day care my 1 year old daughter attended. I was extremely worried about this one. But I'm happy to say I made the best decision. I feel may daughter is well cared for. And her teachers are wonderful.

The worst first impression!! So I work M-F 7-3:30 about an hour away from my house. So when I arrived at this location it was about 5pm. When I got there I spoke to the lady at the front asking for a tour because I was looking for a school for my 2 little boys. She quickly looked at her watch and said “ we don’t do tours at this time, I will schedule you for next week”. So I explained to her that even I do schedule a tour for next week, I would be arriving at the same time. She then look at me and repeated that they didn’t do tours at this time. So I then responded “ok” and she told me “ ok goodbye”as I was still standing in front of her trying to get more info. This location was not busy at all, there was not much happening. Beside the fact that she could have at least given me some information on the location like rates and curriculum information, she looked at me with such discussed, it baffled me. My job actually has a negotiated discount with them which is the reason I checked them out but God knows they will not be taking care of my children with that type of service no matter how much the discount!!!

They provide exceptional care for children of all ages. My family and I interviewed several other local childcare facilities and Kindercare was the best hands down. My daughter loves her teachers and the staff go above and beyond to make us all feel welcomed and cared for. I especially appreciate the curriculum and focus on education, growth and learning given to all of the children including the new borns. My money is very well spent as Midtown Kindercare.
