I love Kindercare Largo! As a single mom I was scared to put my child in daycare. They welcomed her with open arms and I had nothing to worry about. They also take 3-4 pictures of her a day so I can always see her smiling face while at work. They use an app system to keep me updated on everything I love it it’s so convenient! My baby always ready to go to school cause she has so much fun there. Her favorite people are the Center director and Assistant director they always have love and snacks for her lol. I definitely recommend bringing your children here!

In February 2025, when my daughter was six months old, she sustained a significant injury while attending the Pinellas KinderCare facility. She suffered a cut to her upper lip that required medical attention, and she experienced projectile vomiting following the incident. When we arrived to pick her up, the teacher informed us that she had “face‑planted” onto a toy. However, earlier that day we had received multiple photos of her playing near that same toy, and in those images she appeared to be several inches away—making the explanation inconsistent with the severity and location of her injury. When we brought our concerns to the center director at the time, Terry McDonald, she initially stated that she was unaware the incident had occurred. However, her signature was already present on the incident report. Her reaction was dismissive and included inappropriate laughter, which made it clear that the situation was not being taken seriously. The injury itself was concerning enough that both a doctor and Child Protective Services became involved, as my daughter had cuts inside her mouth from the blunt force of her jaw snapping shut—despite the fact that she had no teeth at the time. We later enrolled our daughter at the Largo KinderCare location, where the quality of care under Director Tehya Olsen has been excellent. However, we have made the decision to withdraw our daughter from this center as well, effective immediately, due to the announcement that Terry McDonald will be assuming the role of director on Monday, March 16, 2026. Based on our prior experience, we do not feel that our daughter’s safety can be assured under her leadership. For any parent who values the safety and well‑being of their child, I strongly advise caution regarding this facility while Terry McDonald is serving as director.

I would like to give MAJOR thanks and appreciation to Ms. Lisa in the infant room! She is what those babies need in the true definition of caring for your child as her own! Kiara & Patty also are /were phenomenal , loving with their love for my baby and the other babies in the infant room. As for DESTINY, she is horrible and definitely abusive to the infants. I’ve proof that she was caught in the infant room sitting down in her phone ignoring the babies. Not to mention she emptied out my baby bottle and totally neglected to feed her the bottle she FALSIFIED in charting that she gave(another teacher verified she indeed did do that) I also recorded it! Destiny is very neglecting towards the babies in that room and that is why she was reported AND removed out of the infant room. The awesome girl that was switched to my baby class in the evenings within the last month was very caring with her to. TERRI, the assistant director if that’s what she wants to call herself, tried to cover up abuse and got in her personal feelings about me calling the center asking about a concern I had. This was up to the point she called the police to the center because I notified her I was having state in my building and my friend would pick up my baby so I wouldn’t be able to make it in time. She also would not allow my friend to get my baby at first. Then she unprofessionally packed all my baby belongings up WITHOUT CORPORATE OR DIRECTOR CONSENT, and filled out a transfer form to send home with my baby. Took me through the hassle of arguing with a parent when clearly the corporate director Katricia stated Terri was 100% wrong and my baby was not to be disenrolled. Made her look totally incompetent of the ability to even Director anything! Just SAD. Thanks to the awesome support from the one special teacher who already had me a spot at my baby new daycare! I pulled her out this morning and she started an hour later! Doesn’t help that KINDERCARE has been on the news for ABUSE many times and PLENTY abuse founded reports!
