I’m not sure how to spell her name but Shae I believe, anyways she did a great job at my grandpa’s service. After my grandma’s service we were dreading on coming back because her service was terrible, but she made it a lot better. My bad review is on all the upcharges this funeral home charges and how much it was. They charged $500 to put my grandpa’s death date, $500 to drive the casket 100 yards, $400 for a tray under the casket, etc etc. That is stuff that should just be included. All together my grandparents paid around $50,000 for their funeral and that’s not even including how much they paid to reserve their spot. So glad we are done with this place and never coming back.

I never imagined becoming a widow at 38 yrs old. My husband passed so suddenly, no will, no life insurance, and me…. A complete mess lost in what to do. I knew this much, my husband wanted to be buried in the Florida National Cemetery with full honors that he had earned after 4 tours in Afghanistan and 100% P&T through the VA. I went to Google and found Lakeland Funeral Home specialized in military funerals. Tara was my appointed funeral director and she was amazing. She did EVERYTHING for me and helped me to feel so at ease in such a difficult time. At the ceremony she even stood in the heat to hold up my husband’s picture. She was there for me whenever I needed her and no matter what my question was. She was my guardian angel when I needed one the most. I am forever grateful for everything she has done for us. Thank you Tara.

My mother just passed on 6/14/26. I hope you clowns read this!! I gave you 2 stars to be the 1st one to.. you deserve minus 5! From the disheveled third party who even dropped the toe tag and walked off in the middle of my living room, to their absolute lack of communication. They were going to sit on my mother's remains and death certificates over the weekend. Had i not called them, she would have spent more days away from home. Not a care in the world weeee!! Just a Friday to them.. caring professionals my hairy behind! The whole thing is a racket, and they treat it like a job, not your loved one.
