I want to say I had Conrad and Thompson funeral home for my mother who passed 6/26/26 and the made the process with ease i felt very comfortable with Mike who helped us out. Organized everything with ease, stayed in touch all the time. He made a hard process for my family with care like it was his own family and I forever grateful for them. Thank you again Conrad and Thompson to everyone involved in helping with my Mother's ceremony.

I highly recommend if you truly want to be treated like family with utmost care and TLC. Planning arrangements for my Dad was one of the hardest things I've had to do in my life. I'm glad I chose Conrad & Thompson for my father's needs. They were there for me during every step and answered all my questions.... before, during, and after the process. I am forever greatful for their transparency and kindness 💛

Attention : Amber, who reps Conrad & Thompson c/c everyone that reps this funeral home I am giving one star only out of respect for my mother's longtime friend, Babe, who works at Conrad & Thompson. Otherwise, I would give no stars. AMBER, I am disgusted by how YOU, Amber treated me during one of the most devastating times of my life. Although she knew I was one of my mother's daughters, she refused to provide any information about my mother's funeral arrangements, telling me it was "private" and "for immediate family only." AMBER, Because of that, I was denied the chance to attend my own mother's burial and say my final goodbye. I believe you, Amber relied on false statements to pass judgements from lies made by my older sister instead of treating me fairly. Given zero facts to support the gossip she decided to break the law to entertain what personally was not Amber's place or her buisness. Amber knowningly Even after my mother had already been buried, I was still refused information and told to "speak to the funeral director." By Amber! The only time anyone contacted me or would be kind & treat & speak to me like I was my mothers daughter was when they needed my signature so they could be paid. To this day, I still do not know where my mother is buried. Missing my mother's burial is something I will carry with me forever. I believe the way I was treated was heartless, unprofessional, and completely lacking in compassion & judged all by pointless gossip. Due to Amber's actions I am considering seeking legal advice regarding what happened. Not stating at this time on a decision to take action but only seeking legal advice on this matter. Amber & the people of this funeral home.... Some things can never be made right. The opportunity to pay my final respects & goodbyes to my mother was taken from me & from my mother that's something you stole from us & its something that can never go back to be made right no matter the amount of apologies which yet to receive any from you amber or anyone of this funeral home, this is something you went out your way to make sure that I was kept from my mother!!! I will never forget that. I forgive but this is a cruel intentional act done by the employee Amber of this funeral home an action she can never make right if she wanted to. You took something so precious from my mother & I & i pray for people as yourself who fail to notice only clowns follow the circus. You clearly think your better than others who you judge when not even ever knowing the person. How you even hold a position of employment at a place where empathy and respect should be top priority! ??? You should seriously chose a new line of work for your future before you cause more irreversible damage again to another victim as you done to my mother n my self. Your ugly on the inside & prayers be with you in hopes one day you get right in the path to the Lord.

WOW is all I can say. We lost my mother-in-law in 2024 and used another funeral home (did not know better), then we just lost my father-in-law two weeks ago and used Conrad and Thompson. A totally different experience. They were professional yet caring, helped us every step of the way. Babe Grissom met with us and guided us with exactly what we needed to do. The day of the funeral their staff was at the church to set up the flowers, helped with the condolence book, and guided the family and friends into the church and then back out again. We did not have to be concerned with anything. A big thank you to them and their entire staff!!! I would highly recommend them!!

Frequently Asked Questions About Conrad and Thompson Funeral Home

Can we scatter the cremated remains?

If you wish to have your ashes scattered somewhere, it is important to discuss your wishes to be scattered ahead of time with the person or persons who will actually have to do the cremation ashes scattering ceremony, as they might want to let your funeral professional assist in the scattering ceremony. Funeral directors can also be very helpful in creating a meaningful and personal ash scattering ceremony that they will customize to fit your families specific desires. The services can be as formal or informal as you like. Scattering services can also be public or private. Again, it is advisable to check for local regulations regarding scattering in a public place-your funeral director can help you with this.

If I am cremated, can I be buried with my spouse even if he or she was in a casket?

Yes — Depending upon the cemetery's policy, you may be able to save a grave space by having the cremains buried on top of the casketed remains of your spouse, or utilize the space provided next to him/her. Many cemeteries allow for multiple cremated remains to be interred in a single grave space.
