These most recent reviews must be from new parents or those who have infants to 1 year olds because that is where the positive experiences end. The director, Ms. Jasmine, has improved the school as a whole, however a couple of the teachers don’t seem to care about anything other than collecting an easy paycheck. You will never know what is going on with your child if you send them here, which is unacceptable when you are talking about your babies. If it weren’t a convenient location and finding openings in other daycares weren’t so hard I would’ve left a while ago. I’ve seen that the owner responds to these reviews asking to call and discuss further, but I have and will it not continue to waste my time discussing the same issues over and over again. I will bide my time until I can find an alternative solution.

As a military family, finding childcare that made us feel confident leaving our infant was one of the most important decisions we had to make. From our very first tour of KinderCare Arlington, we knew we had found something special. Jasmine, the director, immediately put us at ease. She is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, professional, and genuinely passionate about what she does. During our tour, she explained every detail of the program, safety procedures, daily routines, and expectations without us even having to ask. Her attention to detail and obvious dedication gave us complete confidence that our daughter would be cared for in a safe and nurturing environment. Our daughter started in the infant room with Joan, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about her. Joan has decades of experience working with children, and it shows in every interaction. She formed an immediate bond with our daughter when she started at just five months old, and knowing she was in Joan’s care made one of the hardest transitions of parenthood so much easier. Joan treated our daughter with the same love, patience, and attention that she would give her own child. The care, reassurance, and support she provided to both our daughter and us as parents is something we will always be grateful for. As our daughter became more mobile, she transitioned to Tiara’s classroom. Like Joan, Tiara brings years of experience, warmth, and genuine love for children to her work every day. Transitions can be difficult for babies, and our daughter struggled with moving classrooms at first. Tiara worked tirelessly to help her feel comfortable, secure, and loved. You can immediately see how much she cares for every child in her classroom. Her patience, kindness, and ability to build strong relationships with the children is truly remarkable. The communication from the staff, the professionalism of the leadership, and the genuine love shown to the children made KinderCare Arlington feel like an extension of our family. As parents, there is nothing more valuable than knowing your child is safe, loved, and thriving while you’re away. The peace of mind that Jasmine, Joan, Tiara, and the entire team provided is priceless. We are incredibly grateful for our time here and will always look back on it with appreciation. Thank you for loving our daughter so well.

My niece and nephew went to this daycare. My sister who works here (so keep in mind if they allow this to happen to someones child who WORKS there - your child probably isn't safe here either) walked into the Tod A classroom to find her son, screaming and crying on the top of his lungs because the teachers locked him in a chair while they were putting other children to sleep, because they didnt want to DEAL with him. My sister ended up taking her son to the ER after work that day because of his fussiness and he was running a 104 FEVER. They chose not to deal with a child who was crying (due to him being sick), and put other children at risk of getting sick on top of this. We're disgusted. And just want to say it's not the first time they choose to isolate my nephew in the classroom.
