Halifax Urban Ministries (HUM) is a faith-based nonprofit serving Volusia and Flagler counties since 1981. We instill hope in those who are homeless or at risk by providing food, shelter, and essential services, with 94 cents of every dollar going directly to the people we serve. Our programs include food pantry distribution, hot meals, emergency financial assistance, shelter, and veteran services. Founded by local faith leaders and now the area's largest provider of basic services to low-income households, HUM welcomes all in need regardless of background or belief.
