At Beginnings and Beyond, we believe that children learn best through hands-on, interactive and play-based experiences. Our center believes that the key to success is to allow for a curriculum which promotes all domains of learning, which includes social, emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development.
My two year old attended there and in the first week he came home with a new scratch or other mark on him every day. When I inquired I was told scratching was "normal" for that age range. In the next couple of weeks the frequency dropped but still happened at least once a week. Scratched or marks or once a busted lip that they couldn't explain. I was in constant communication with admin and they eventually had a training day in the room. The day after said training I go on the app and there is a text that my son has two busted lips and a chipped tooth. It said he was sitting on the floor and was corrected for a behavior and he reared back in a tantrum and hurt himself in that way. It was only after I started questioning that I got a phone call. I picked my child up. An hour later he was still bleeding from his injury. His tooth was so bad it had to be pulled because the nerve was exposed. Things didn't add up to what they said happened and the severity of his injuries. Long story short I learned that the report was a lie. A teacher had picked him up and was carrying him in an odd way across the room afer the incident. In the video looked like he twisted in discomfort and she either dropped him or just let him fall and he hit the floor on his face. I suspected she intentionally let him drop after he squirmed because the teacher didn't check on him, she just stood over him while he lay there then turned and walked away. He got himself off the floor and went to the other teacher and she noticed his injuries. The next week was a series of lies I had to wade through and being told the situation didn't warrant the teacher being let go. He's obviously in a new daycare and has came home with not one mark on him since.

I had previously enrolled my 3 year old. & honestly I loved it because I could see how they really cared for my child. But multiple events happened which led me to remove my child. Me and his new teacher (because they’re constantly changing rooms) got into a back and forth because she stated “a lot of kids are losing jackets… they didn’t even have one on today… she then slammed her classroom door… I told her my child had a jacket. Come to find out it was in another class that he’s not in because “they didn’t know who’s it was” I put his name on the tag but OK. I then look on fb and at 7am the teachers family member is viewing my profile which made me uncomfortable but I guess maybe you’re just venting to your family idk .. but then when I picked him up from school that day the teacher rolled her eyes and turned her back, no bye.. no he had a great day.. no nothing another uncomfortable moment which made me feel like wow.. i wonder how my son was treated today (they had previous abuse charges to teachers for abusing the children or a child idk but it was two teachers.. so I withdrew him.. and I pay the full tuition no poc.. instead of coming to the parent to rectify the situation the admin texts me “idk if you were unenrolling or not but you’d owe this week next week and the week after” …… am I missing something ??? This place is crazy lol

We have been attending B&B for about four months now. My daughter adores her teachers and has a blast while in class. The staff keeps excellent communication with parents/guardians regarding their little. I am very thankful I found this center and that they had an opening during my time of need. Picture of my little learning and growing below.

I just received guardianship of my great nephew. He was previously in a terrible environment for his first 3-1/2 years that caused him to be behind socially. He was kicked out of two childcare centers locally and I was preparing to give him up to the state because I have to work. My social worker asked me to try Beginnings and Beyond and I am so thankful that I did. They are so wonderful with him. I only get positive feedback and see great social and emotional growth in my child and he is only in his second week. I highly recommend!
