  My daughter has been going to BrightPath in Wallingford just a little under 16 months. She came to BrightPath selectively verbal and with extreme difficulties regarding transitions, change in routine, and unsafe behaviors like elopement and self-injury. The BrightPath team has been pivotal in getting her engaged with learning and building on her daily routines, and she has fostered new skills and coping mechanisms that have made her day-to-day more successful and safe. I’ve been so fortunate to have had the opportunity to collaborate with them on ways to help my child’s individual needs, and they really do care about making sure every child is set up for success. Ms. Leslie in specific is the best teacher we could ever ask for, for our special babygirl. She is a literal superhero, and we cannot even express in words my gratitude for her. She has changed our daughter’s life for the better and we will never forget that. I cannot recommend this place enough. Communication is great, and I never have to wonder how my child’s day was since they communicate often and openly. It is very evident that the staff here care for my child and value her the way she is supposed to be. Your kids will thrive here if you give them the chance to. This is a place where the teachers possess a genuine love of learning and pour into their students.

  I had a negative experience at this daycare for my daugther. I filled out so many forms just for the staff to be unaware of her dietary restrictions and language needs. Staff was very uncomfortable to my mother who was dropping off my daugther. They also falsely reported her food intake and refused to give her more food when she accidentaly spilled her snacks (mind you she was a baby who was still learning how to eat). We found the teacher screaming at the toddlers and ignoring kids who were asking for water. This place was a disgrace and so grateful I noticed quick enough to take my daugther out of there.

  As first time parents, BrightPath has been a total blessing for our family. From day one, it was clear that the staff doesn’t just 'watch' our son. Sandra and Deanna are very welcoming every morning and are always answering any questions we have. The staff truly loves and cares for our son as if he were their own. It’s the little things that stand out, like the detailed daily updates and the way his face lights up when he sees his teachers in the morning. Knowing he is in such a safe, nurturing, and warm environment gives us incredible peace of mind while my wife and I are at work. We couldn't ask for a better staff.

  I was made aware of how my niece was treated In this facility and I find it absolutely disappointing that a place with such high ratings could neglect a child to an extent that she Was brought to the hospital to get a very extremely irritated diaper rash treated, it was so bad that my poor niece is traumatized to even be left alone anywhere by her mom she has no confidence and trust in anyone anymore and it’s all due to this daycare.. I do not recommend this place , If you have a child who needs to be on a different schedule compared to normal kids and I’m talking as to kids who are a little bit more sensitive to diapers, food any type of special needs situations because something so simple as a child who needs a little bit more extra care for diaper changes Due to their sensitivity and they couldn’t even be on top of that little extra care, I Can’t even begin to imagine how it would be for another child who has more demands Compared to my niece….

  For a place that charges a lot for childcare, you would think your child would be given the best absolute care. This unfortunately was not the case. Many times I would pick up my child who would look visibly neglected, clothes would be dirty from meals or play (when she would have a spare change of clothes incase if she needed to be changed), food residue from previous meals around hands or face, or mucus dripping down my child’s face, etc. If you’re taking care of one’s child that they entrust you in you would think the minimum they could do is keep them clean at least. Also if your child has specific needs that need to be met, they make you feel like you’re being heard but unfortunately nothing ever gets done or communicated across to any of the other teachers. There has been many instances where we have brought up to the director and even teachers about certain skin sensitivity conditions that our child had and how to come across treating it but was ultimately neglected which led us to finding our child at pick up time, in worse conditions then how we left her. This overall was an ultimately frustrating experience. Would not recommend.
