  There aren’t works to express my appreciation for all of the staff at Simsbury Brightpath. My kids have attended this school for 4 years, and each of them (all three) have only had positive experiences and exceptional social and mental growth. My kids are sweet, silly, smart, and kind- in large part because they have had phenomenal teachers while away from home. They get ample individual attention- hugs when they feel sad and understanding when they are upset. They’ve learned patience, sharing and problem solving. My oldest was well prepared for kindergarten and excelled in his first year of school. Major shoutout to Teacher Ezra who feels like family and taught 2 of my kids- literally the most amazing toddler care taker and teacher you could ask for. Child care is expensive- but it’s worth it to pay a little more for a good program where your child feels safe, loved, and seen.

  We visited schools all over the region for the best Pre-K program for our daughter, and BrightPath in Simsbury definitely has it! When we met Ms Nayomi & Ms Eve we knew immediately that we had not only found the premier program, but also the most caring, fun and passionate teachers! We have now been with the BrightPath family for months and continue to be so impressed with not only our daughter’s class, but the entire school and awesome staff! A truly wonderful and caring community from top to bottom!

  One of the worst daycare experiences of my life. My daughter would constantly come home injured. No accident reports I would have to email finding out what happened to my child and no calls home for head injuries. Told that the director Libby “dropped the ball” every time. No changes ever made everytime I voiced my concerns I was left with false promises. My daughter would come home with bite marks on her face and the teacher only cared to tell me how cute her outfit was and not that she was hurt by another student. Constantly changing staff and rooms. This center as a whole lacks organization, communication, and care for well being of children. If you have issues the director will tell you it’s her fault that she forgot to make sure parents get calls when your child is coming home with a bruised face. She will say she dropped the ball every time, but truthfully I don’t think the ball was ever in her hands. They also struggle with potty training and will leave your child in soiled clothes, smelling of urine. We have unenrolled for 2 weeks now my daughter is back to fully potty trained and thriving. When told we were unenrolling I got the response “well now because of this we are calling home even for a bump on the elbow” like following EEC regulations wasn’t important until you got caught breaking them? Stay away from this center. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

  We have had a wonderful experience at Educational Playcare in Simsbury. My son started there when he was 3 months old and is now in the toddler classroom. The teachers are outstanding. I have always felt so comfortable leaving him at EP. They really go above and beyond to meet the needs of every child. We couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll our child at EP.
