Loved one admitted for rehab. The facility is well maintained!!! The head of maintenance was painting a door frame and getting a few direct TV channel’s fixed. The staff have gone above n beyond what I would have expected. Edith impressed me within 3 minutes! Thank you!

Front desk staff is excellent and always makes my day brighter. Head nurse Justina is always helpful, reasonable, and willing to have conversations and develop solutions. Our experience with the office staff, documentation of needs and requests for therapy, communication regarding changes to care, and most critical recordkeeping and sharing of information with insurance during an appeal was unprofessional, frustrating, caused negative impactsto the patient, and lacked accountability in all areas. Mistakes happen, of course, but when the opportunity was there to correct them so the patient could recieve a fair appeal process - there was no accountability or action was taken. Social worker was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, patient, and helpful within her scope. Requests, verbal and written, by the patient and family regarding responsible parties and medical representatives in place for decisioning and all updates were denied and disregarded constantly. Requests to and directive to keep one individual updated and included in ALL decisions or changes of care were denied and ignored constantly. The care at the facility was satisfactory and even above satisfactory in many cases. However, the disregard for family and medical advocate communication led to several negative impacts for the patient, denial of appeal based on incomplete and inaccurate records and untimely or lack of response to written communications. In the end, this treatment led to a stressful, disorganized, unprofessional, and negative health and financial impact experience. There is a lot of potential for this facility to be the best in all areas, in our opinion. Communication, organization, and accountability would need to be addressed significantly to make that happen. The care provided, facility resources. and cleanliness were top tier. The office, communication, documentation, and prioritizing patient well being holistically were severely disconnected and/or nonexistent.
