  Batter up Bakery made our cake for our wedding and it was beyond what we expected. I had send them a design and they were able to change the colors and make it look so beautiful! The bride and groom toppers were so cute! The cake was delicious and the whole process was so easy. They were so great with their communication. The cake was the only thing I didn’t stress about!

  Im left unhappy with this bakery and wont recommend them for custom orders. The food inside is great but my review is for my wedding cake order. We ordered 3 cakes, 2 house, 1 custom cake cutting cake. The custom cake was over $100 alone and looked like a new person decorated it and there was an ant on top. One of the other cakes was missing a lot of the blueberries and did not taste how it did in the original taste testing and was lopsided but whatever, i wanted my main cake the most. When i called they said i had sent them blurry images and thats why it looked the way it did but they would make a new one. ( i had sent them a lot of images and said i wanted a vintage cake). They did deliver a new cake but it was almost late and we didnt get a picture of the full dessert bar because of it. Overall, im just left feeling sad because for me, the cake is as important as the wedding dress and i wanted to order from the best place in town.

  We ordered a two-tier chocolate mousse cake with fresh strawberries and an additional 1/4 sheet cake for our wedding of about 200 guests. The cake was absolutely delicious—so many of our guests complimented it, and the chocolate mousse with fresh strawberries was a huge hit! The only small issue was that the decoration colors weren’t what we had requested. We provided an inspiration photo and specifically asked for the blue and purple colors to be changed to mauve and fuchsia, which was noted during the ordering process. Unfortunately, the cake still came out with blue and purple accents instead. That said, it honestly wasn’t a big deal to us at the end of the day and I didn’t really notice until I got my photos back! The cake tasted amazing, communication throughout the process was great, delivery was seamless, and the pricing was very reasonable. We paid about $370 total, including delivery, for a two-tier cake and a 1/4 sheet cake, which we felt was a great value. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and would definitely recommend them! I would just confirm again next time if they used correct colors.
