I swear I always forget how nice it is out there, way quieter than I expected for a Saturday afternoon. Ended up wandering around the paths for way longer than I planned because the trees just make everything feel calm and slow. The grass was super green and the layout is really easy to walk even if you aren't looking for a specific spot. Definitely going to bring a blanket next time and just hang out for a bit

Thank you for your understanding, compassion, and care you have shown me and my family, since 2020. Your continued support brought us peace when we needed it most. Grateful to your all, especially to Cary and David!

They just let the Canadian Geese roam and drop their waste everywhere in the grass and on sites. Have to look down when walking and even clean up geese droppings off of our families stones. While this is not the animals fault, its more on management's end not tending to the area and mitigating the geese. Unacceptable.

Anna worked with me for over two hours reviewing the options and pricing. In the end, I was happy with my decision.

The cemetery is nestled next to the Los Gatos mountains and in a very quiet area of Los Gatos & San Jose. We from the ideal site after visiting about five times and each time the counselor Tina Teran drove us around with patience and kindness and explained everything to us.
The plot itself was only about $1,500 more another places that we looked at, but while standing or walking around the Memorial Park, I felt a sense of peace especially with the view of the mountains next to this location. Also this is where my dad wanted to be buried it was perfect for us.
Frequently Asked Questions About Los Gatos Memorial Park
When I call, will someone come right away?
If you request immediate assistance, yes. If the family wishes to spend a short time with the deceased to say good-bye, that’s perfectly acceptable. Your funeral director will come when your time is right.
Should I choose Burial or Cremation?
Burial in a casket is the most common method of disposing of remains in the United States, although entombment also occurs. Cremation is increasingly selected because it can be less expensive and allows for the memorial service to be held at a more convenient time in the future when relatives and friends can come together.
A funeral service followed by cremation need not be any different from a funeral service followed by a burial. Usually, cremated remains are placed in urn before being committed to a final resting place. The urn may be buried, placed in an indoor or outdoor mausoleum or columbarium, or interred in a special urn garden that many cemeteries provide for cremated remains. The remains may also be scattered, according to state law.
What is the purpose of embalming?
Embalming sanitizes and preserves the body. Embalming makes it possible to lengthen the time between death and the final disposition, allowing family members time to arrange and participate in the type of service most comforting to them.
Does a dead body have to be embalmed, according to law?
The Federal Trade Commission says, "Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial."
