The Chicano Federation of San Diego County

Our mission is to cultivate opportunities and advocate for families and individuals for a more equitable comunidad. We serve San Diegans in need through volunteers, staff, partners, donors, and friends committed to opportunity with integrity and responsibility. Our programs include subsidized childcare children ages 0–5, low-income housing, a community resource center, and a home-based program supporting parents directly in their homes. We also support family child care providers and offer workforce development programs, including training on how to start and grow a child care business. Our nutrition program reimburses providers for serving healthy meals, and we offer youth programming at our Barrio Station location to support learning.
