About

Foster Care ServiceSocial WorkSocial Services Organization
Since 1984 Youth & Family Programs has been providing a supportive, safe, and stable environment for foster families and foster children. We work with children age infant to 21 years old who have been detained by Butte and Shasta County. We also offer Transitional Housing and the Independent Living Program for our youth in extended foster care. Anyone who is safe, stable, adult, married, or single with room in their hearts and home for children in need can become a foster parent. You must be willing to be responsible for the care of a foster child, be willing to become a part of our team, and be able to meet the Community Care Licensing requirements.

I can only give them one star other wise it would be negatives. 🤦🏽‍♀️ They don’t care about their clients and it’s sad we as kids are looking to them for guidance and we aren’t given any with this program. If you are looking into THP housing you are better off with another program!
