  We have had such a wonderful experience at Learn and Play Pleasant Hill. Our daughter is so well cared for, and we are incredibly grateful for the love and attention she receives every day. Miss Maria and Miss Gita are amazing. They take such incredible care of her, and Miss Maria in particular has been so loving and patient during drop off, which can be one of the hardest parts of preschool. She gives our daughter the comfort and affection she needs to start her day feeling safe and loved. We also had a great experience with Miss Marisol and Miss Daniella when our daughter was younger. It says a lot about the school that so many of the teachers lead with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. Learn and Play may not be the newest preschool, but what matters most is the people caring for your child. The teachers here truly lead with love, and we are so thankful our daughter is part of this school.

  We’ve had a wonderful experience at this preschool with both of our children who both started in the toddler program around ages 2 & 3. The teachers and staff are incredibly warm and loving; they truly feel like part of our village. Even after our oldest graduated, the director, admin team, and his previous teachers and other staff still greet them with genuine warmth when we’re picking up our little one there, which says so much about the community here. We wanted them in this setting for social-emotional development prior to attending elementary school. What we've gotten is that, plus a boost in their confidence and we've been very happy with our experience.

  We have been with LAPMS for just under a year, after starting at another local chain preschool that was unacceptable. We are so happy with our daughter’s class, and her teachers are nothing short of amazing with their never ending patience and love. Maria, the director and her staff have also exceeded my expectations in their ability to manage such a well-run school and with long tenured employees. Highly recommend the school!

  Learn and Play Pleasant Hill has been like a second home to us and our daughter for the last 2+ years. This wholehearted five-star review and recommendation is long overdue. Learn and Play PH has always had rock-solid, steady leadership, led by their two directors, Ms. Chris and Ms. Maria. Under their roof, every day, I know our daughter is safe, cared for, and learning. We feel fortunate to be a member of the Learn and Play family.

  Learn and Play has been great with my little guy, who has been attending for about 2.5 years now. In the beginning, he cried hysterically at drop- off but the teachers were loving and comforting, and came up with a song to cheer him into the school every morning. Within a few minutes of my absence, he was happy and cheerful. I appreciated the staff's care and compassion with my son and for helping him become comfortable, and this has been consistent. His vocabulary, way of thinking and the amount of information he retains from the curriculum that is taught,is impressive. There is a great combination of teaching and free play. The school invites parents to events, and incorporates us as much as possible. My son had been thriving and I'm grateful to all the teachers and staff!
