  Praying is one of the best care takers I have worked with at this facility. “Best” because he is A. Not only hears, but listens, B. Because he thinks and then suggests how my complaints can be answered, C. He remembers all that we talked about, and D. Not only does he follow through, but he comes back the next day to make sure that everything is okay. Case in point: My brace after surgery was extremely painful. It was very hard, and I was told that one size brace fits all, which is illogical to me. Pratik examined the brace given to me. My neck leans over, and the brace is built for someone with a straight neck. He told me “this brace does not fit you.” Other staffers I asked told me that the brace was fine. Pratik was accurate because the hard brace had been pressing into my earlobe (top and bottom) cutting into my clavicle area with pressure, left earlobe and into my jaw. I was bruised in all areas. He put on a soft brace which has been excellent. It still is tight and it hurts a bit, but it fits me! I appreciate that he made my SNF stay 90% better. I would highly recommend him and thank him.

  POOL HAZARD WARNING!!! I visited a relative here. It's a fabulous facility for the very rich. We used the pool one day and I need to report that the floor in the men's locker room is extremely slippery and a great hazard for falling, which can be very dangerous for the elderly. Anyone using the pool should wear pool shoes or flip-flops, especially in the locker room, but even then the floor might prove hazardous.

  I am feeling very grateful for the 15 days of recovering at Vi Palo Alto. Starting with the professionalism, kindness, efficiency and competence of the nurses, rehab department, and especially the RD and dining department who very precisely accomodated my diet’s special needs. I am mostly impressed with the friendliest treatment and love that I received from the entire team. Thank you Prachi, Nishi, jocelyne, ruby, michelle, Code, mohamed, Cecilia, Rosario, Maria and especially Daniela. I am so grateful for everyone. I m sorry that i forgot many other nanes.   Dr Ralph K. This was my second admission to the Vi Skilled Nursing facility in Palo Alto after lumbar spinal fusion surgery. From the moment I stepped through the front door, the environment was warm, welcoming & professional. I saw both new & some familiar faces. I felt I was in good hands from day 1, having spent 10 days there in 2023. The facility has a team-based approach to patient care involving leadership roles, NP, Nurses, Therapists, & CNA`s amongst others. A special shout-out goes to Cecilia, Abby, Ly, Kyle, Nhan, Nishi, Janith, Noelle, Valeria, Jocelyn, Nataly, Grace, Alecia, & Rosaria. The personalized care I received empowered me to manage my recovery with a strong focus on rehabilitation. The staff at Vi go above & beyond to ensure each patient receives personalized care. They are not only highly skilled in what they do, but they are also compassionate treating every individual with dignity & respect. The activity programs are thoughtfully designed to engage the patients, promoting both physical & mental health which is a testament to the facility`s commitment to holistic care. In short, I highly recommend the Vi Skilled Nursing facility to anyone seeking quality care for their loved ones.

  I am writing this on behalf of another party who recently stayed at the Vi Care Center: She had a very positive experience, felt well cared for, and felt she came out of the care facility better than she entered it. She highly recommends the Vi!
