  Merrill Gardens at Monterey is a wonderful place to live. The Directors and staff are very caring, they make you feel welcome, very friendly, food is outstanding and activities are well organized. Special events that are being offered are so much fun and staff are well engaged. Each Department ensure that you're needs are met. It's a happy place to live!

  We moved my mom to Merrill Gardens this year and we were worried about the transition into assisted living for her. Everything has been amazing here at Merrill Gardens Monterey. From Maureen who showed us around and is so caring and compassionate, to Lucy and Kathy at the Front Desk always greeting us with a smile, to the amazing Chef and staff that prepare food and serve it with a smile. The Med Techs and Housekeeping are always on time and available whenever needed. The Activities provided from Balance Classes to Seated Volleyball, Swimming etc. Tiffaney the Manager communicates and gets back to me whenever I have any questions. Its just such a great place filled with great people who care for our loved ones. I am truly grateful to have this place in Monterey!

  I've got to tell you that we looked and looked for the right community for my dear wife Cathy. We couldn't have done it without the professional experience and assistance of Laura Ruggieri, Senior Living Advisor with Elder Placement Professionals (EPP), a Monterey Peninsula LLC. Laura is kind, personal, empathetic, professional...takes care of all the details needed to go and have a tour or get questions answered at just about any of the care communities. Certainly recommend her and the EEP!
