About
Non-Profit OrganizationAfter School ProgramHomeless ShelterPreschool
Founded in 1986 out of the Dolores Mission Church in Boyle Heights, Proyecto Pastoral is a nonprofit organization committed to building a more just and compassionate society. Rooted in community, we address systemic poverty through programs focused on education, leadership development, housing, and organizing. Our initiatives include a shelter for older unhoused women and single men, early childhood education centers, youth development programs, and grassroots efforts that uplift the dignity and potential of our neighbors. We work hand-in-hand with residents to create lasting change and empower future generations.
