- TTtippyreedMay 26, 20215.0I recently asked my friends from McKenzie Mortuary to help our family prepare for my mom's funeral. I feel like I can call them my friends because we've used their services twice before, once for my dad and once for my brother and they've always done an exceptional job. Derrick King, the Director, explained everything to us so there was never any doubt about what to expect. He made sure all options were presented and took his time so that there was never any misunderstanding. Because my dad was a veteran, my mom and dad were both buried together in April 2021 at the Riverside National Cemetery . Derrick made sure that this took place and I know this took a little more work on his part. We were able to witness the flag ceremony and the 21 gun salute which made it a very special day for all of us. Again, McKenzie Mortuary, thank you for helping us during this very difficult time and for recently contacting us to see how we were doing.
