The Fremont Alvarado KinderCare is the best of the best! All of the teachers are kind, caring, and excited to take care of your child. We put our son in the Discovery Preschool program when he was 2 year old. Prior to him joining, he had a speech delay, didn't really eat, and was very shy. Thank goodness we enrolled him because within 2 weeks he was talking up a storm, making friends, and eating all new food and even vegetables (this I still cannot believe). I have seen him truly blossom here and it was worth every penny.
I never have to worry when I drop my son off. Every single person knows my son, me and my partner which makes it feel like they are actually involved instead of just one of the kids or families at the center. The curriculum is so creative, fun, and adorable. Sometimes they have special activities like a reptile man, fire fighter visit, and a petting zoo. My son has really learned so much since joining.
I am forever grateful to everyone at this center from the teachers to the managers to the cooks and cleaners. We are looking forward to enrolling our daughter in this center once she is 2 also.
KinderCare Alvarado has been an incredible blessing for our family. As the parent of a child with additional support needs, finding a childcare center that truly embraces inclusion is rare and this team exceeds every expectation.
From day one, they have gone above and beyond to make sure my son feels safe, loved, and included. They take the time to understand his unique needs, advocate for him, and celebrate every milestone. Their care is genuine, and it shows in everything they do.
After difficult experiences at other childcare centers where we often felt judged, KinderCare Alvarado restored our faith. Every morning we are welcomed with warmth, kindness, and smiles. Their compassion has made an enormous difference for both our son and our family.
A special thank you to Ms. Yvonne, Ms. Yara, and Ms. Ellen for leading with such heart, professionalism, and attention to detail. Their communication is exceptional, and it's clear they care deeply about every child who walks through their doors.
I also want to recognize Ms. April, who has consistently advocated for my son and always kept his best interests at the center of every decision. Knowing that someone at school believes in your child as much as you do is something every parent hopes for.
What truly sets KinderCare Alvarado apart is their partnership with families. They communicate openly, personalize their care, and create an environment where every child is valued. That kind of dedication cannot be taught - it comes from people who genuinely love what they do.
If you're looking for a childcare center where children are cared for with compassion, respect, and excellence, I wholeheartedly recommend KinderCare Alvarado. We are deeply grateful for everything they have done for our family.
Our child has been at KinderCare now for a couple years and our experience has been absolutely the best we could have hoped for and more. We always appreciate the consist updates on how her day is going and what activities she is doing through the app and enjoy the pictures they send to us throughout the day. Our child has definitely grown and learned much more than we ever could have thought. We can’t express our gratitude for the teachers and management here. They are always very thoughtful, caring, and responsive.

We recently used Alvarado KinderCare for a week of backup care for our toddler, and unfortunately, it was a highly distressing and disappointing experience.
From the first few days, we noticed several red flags. Communication was incredibly poor; caregivers provided almost no insight into our child's activities and gave very brief, evasive answers when we asked direct questions. Additionally, they claimed to sanitize the water and milk bottles daily, but we found ourselves having to deep clean them every evening when we got home. We initially hoped these were just honest mistakes, but things escalated.
On our fourth day, I arrived for pickup and could hear my child crying loudly all the way from the reception area. My toddler is generally very happy and has done wonderfully at previous daycares, so I was shocked to realize it was my child. When I got to the room, there were four adult caregivers present, yet absolutely no one was attempting to comfort my toddler. No one offered a toy, food, or took them out for fresh air. For a child in a new, unfamiliar environment who cannot yet speak, this lack of basic empathy and proactive care was unacceptable.
When we brought our child home, they immediately ate an entire meal instead of their usual small snack, making it clear the crying was due to hunger—a basic need the staff completely failed to identify or address.
To make matters worse, when I immediately raised this incident with the daycare staff, my concerns were completely brushed off and dismissed as "nothing."
I highly advise parents to look elsewhere, even for temporary backup care. The poor communication, hygiene discrepancies, and blatant disregard for a crying, hungry child by multiple caregivers show a severe lack of responsibility and care.
