- BTBeth TweedyJun 30, 20265.0We have been sending our daughter to Hutchinson Child Development Center since she was just two months old, and now that she is three, I can confidently say we have had nothing but positive experiences! The staff here is absolutely wonderful. From day one, both our child and our entire family have felt so loved, welcomed, and accepted by everyone there. It is incredibly reassuring to know that she is getting so much more than just basic childcare—she is truly learning, growing, and being positively challenged every single day. As working parents, leaving your child is never easy, but we honestly cannot imagine a better place for her to be while we are at work. We highly recommend Hutchinson to any family in Davis!
- MPMarissa PimentelJun 19, 20235.0Our daughter joined the infant room for a short period, and she absolutely loved it. She learned to walk, participate in group activities, among other things. Her sleep could have been better, albeit it was difficult as she was a contact sleeper. There were days when she did not nap at all, and that was heart breaking. In the end, we left the center looking for full-time daycare. Overall, I have nothing but wonderful experiences from her time there. As for Bright Horizons the company, I love their curriculum, resources, and transparency. Really appreciated the open communication with the parents and community building. As with most waitlists, it is not easy, and you will not be given an estimated time frame. To add to that, there is the factor of UCD affiliation. For that, I recommend adding yourself as soon as possible.
