  My daughter has been going to Learn and Play Montessori in Danville since the last two years. It is her last week there as she is starting public school and I want to take this opportunity to thank the teachers and Miss Amrita and everyone else for operating this school with such care. My daughter is super shy and took her time to adjust and everyone was very patient with her, and also us, with our questions and concerns. Once she adjusted, she has had a gala time, if I ask if she wants to stay at home on a Friday or go to schools she always picks going to school. The curriculum stands by the schools name and is a wonderful mix of math, reading, writing, arts, yoga, Spanish. Love the extra classes that are offered like music. We didn’t spend any time teaching her anything but she learnt phonics, reading, writing all from school and is now confidently reading entire books. Teachers encourage kids to finish their meals, be independent, they celebrate festivals, and the school fosters a sense of community. Highly recommend.

  Our twins have been part of the Learn and Play family since they were just 18 months old, and now that they have graduated from TK and are wrapping up their final summer session, it is truly bittersweet to say goodbye. It has been incredible to watch them grow into confident, curious, and caring individuals. What we have appreciated most is how deeply the teachers have come to know them as individuals. They have always been recognized for their unique personalities, strengths, interests, and areas for growth. Each supported on their own journey through a thoughtful combination of age-appropriate developmental standards and the Montessori approach. Knowing our children were in the hands of people who genuinely cared about them gave us such incredible peace of mind. Over the years, we have built lasting relationships with so many wonderful teachers and staff who have become an important part of our family's story. We are so grateful for the love, care, patience, and encouragement our boys have received at Learn and Play!

  My son spent three years at LAPMS, and it's hard to put into words how much this school has meant to us. The teachers are patient and genuinely committed to helping every child grow. Their curriculum lets each child learn and develop at their own pace, without pressure or comparison. My son made friendships that shaped his time there and as parents, we did too. There's a real sense of community among families here. What stays with you is the feeling you get the moment you walk through the doors. Between the infrastructure and the teachers, you know your child is safe. It's the reassurance every parent looks for, and we found it here. We're grateful and thankful to all the teachers at LAPMS for the years they gave our son, and for the start in life they gave him.

  Words cannot express how thankful our family is for Learn and Play Montessori School in Danville. I had two of my children there babies all the way to Kindergarten. My younger one has now graduated from the school, and we are so so sad to say goodbye after all of these years! This school has been so much more than we could have ever hoped for. We made real connections with the staff and lifelong bonds with other families. We really trusted the staff to care for and teach our kids- and were able to go to work without a single worry. They were like a second family to us and a huge part of our lives. The teachers are incredibly kind and patient but also firm when they need to be. They helped our children grow emotionally, mentally, and academically. Everyday our kids came home talking about their teachers, the office staff, and their friendships. It was amazing when my older kid went off to elementary school and had this strong foundation as a student and a socialized human being. Communication from the school was always exceptional. What sets this school apart from many others in the area is the genuine care and love from the environment, the cleanliness, and also the diversity that allowed our children to grow with various cultures and perspectives. Thank you so much to LAPMS Danville! We truly love you all so much!

  We love this school! The teachers are wonderful, caring, and truly invested in the kids. Our children have thrived since attending and have grown so much both academically and socially. We’re incredibly grateful to be part of such a warm and supportive community.
