  I work closely with Savahanna from TheKey when it comes to finding home care for my hospice patients in San Francisco. I always appreciate the urgency in which she responds, and her diligence in covering all the bases so that my patients and their loved ones don’t have to worry about care or reliability during an already stressful time. I highly recommend working with Savahanna if you are ever in need of care in whatever place you call home.

  My health care aide Miriam was one of the key factors in my healing process after being temporarily disabled by an accident. She was kind and intuitive, and I looked forward to seeing her every day. She helped me with everything from personal care to housework to making me laugh. It is thanks to her care that I have healed little by little and am fully on the road to recovery. I cannot recommend her enough.

  When you engage, retain, hire, contract a medical caregiver, medical home care service provider, you want to have as close to seamless coverage as possible - - - without fatiguing the caregivers; and with caregivers that have excellent para or professional medical care skills and aptitude AND then you want compassionate care and then if you are really lucky, you want to see a collaborative team effort that scales from shift-to-shift across the entire group of caregivers, especially when you are engaging an around-the-clock initiative. Often, when it comes time to augment home care giving from family member(s), we look at a single practitioner, we know of or a Care.com self-employed person - which may be sufficient for few hours a day for few days per week. However, real care, even full days over the course of a 7 day week cannot be covered by 1 or even 3 people without risk of coverage gaps due to illness, family emergencies, weather, etc...so, you find out the hard way OR under stress, duress that you need a village to carry out a longer term, 24/7 coverage plan with talented, compassionate professionals that take pride in overlapping time to collaborate and provide seamless care, that can continue through home care, in-room assistance during stressful hospitalizations for patients AND THIS IS WHAT THE KEY DOES NOW....keeps the focus on meaningful medical outcomes every shift, every day and the cross talk and communications throughout the team is humbling...augmenting your care plan with private healthcare during the most stressful times of any patients, loved-ones, the extended families lives cannot be quantified of its value and The Key demonstrates this to me on every shift, every caregiver and even the administrators and management. The people are The Key! Their process works! The patient's benefits are comfort, smoothing out the bumps, the harsh truths of urgent medical care, the fear . . . The Key helps smooth all of these things out...at home, in transport, in-hospital. I would say you cannot put a price on that, but i think we all know they can and do, so . . . . I'd rather say, if you do have some money, this is what it is for!

  Dominique has gone beyond my highest expectations in providing us an excellent caregiver for my husband. We are pleased with their services! Mirna is energetic, attentive, and very caring with my husband, who suffers from dementia. She sat down and engaged him in a conversation immediately developing a warm relationship. He looks forward to taking walks and running errands with her to pick up any extra items I may need for dinner. She fixes his meals sometimes adding her own special touches. When she went on vacation, Dominique sent another excellent caregiver with the same qualities. Both caregivers keep my husband active throughout his day. Dominique has allowed me to go to my office daily without stress or worry. Both caregivers prepare delicious and nutritious meals in the kitchen and leave everything clean and tidy upon their departure. I highly recommend this service to everyone that needs help with a loving member of their family.
