Conejo memorial made the worst time in our lives a little bit more bearable because we had the most amazing funeral director destiny g. We have been coming here for years but this time was different because it was for our daughter so it was so very much more difficult. But the level of professionalism and compassion were amazing.

It was really beautiful to view. So sorry I couldn't attend. I made a previous committment to work the election as a worker for the five days during the early voting and on election day at the poles open all day at the Community College District offices. The services were beautiful. I was so impressed by the beautiful words your kid sister said about the devotion you had taking care of Tim from the time of his stroke through his hospice care and through his passing. You guys really were a beautiful couple. I'm sure he appreciated your love and companionship. May g-d grant his eteral peace and you comfort in your grief. We love you and are looking forward to seeing you soon, Jay and Joni

Last month we said farewell to our Beloved Mother in the beautiful historic Chapel of the Islands that was moved to Conejo Mountain from Port Hueneme in 1965, and was buried in the lovely, mountainside, tree-covered cemetery just adjacent. From the Receptionist, to the Funeral Arranger, the Cemetery's Family Services Counselor, the Service Ambassadors, to the Cemetery Groundsmen, everyone was professional, polite, caring, and understanding. I was in almost daily communication with Destiny, our Funeral Arranger, who ensured that every detail was addressed. Destiny’s empathy for our family at this time of grief made this experience much easier as she truly went above and beyond to ensure that our family was well taken care of. Not only did she address all of the necessary items but also made some small, kind gestures that will never be forgotten. Thank you Destiny and the entire Conejo Mountain staff for also for taking good care of those family members that went before Mom, and the others that will one day rest peacefully by her side.

My co-worker's friend was cremated here, and we went to McDonald's afterwards and then accidentally filled his urn with McDonald's Sprite and then drank it. I feel terrible about it but at least I'm Wolverine now.
