- WSWalter SteimleMar 6, 20225.0When my job first moved us here a few years back, we knew no one and almost nothing about Bakersfield. Happily this changed quickly as the congregation here at this church kindly greeted us and included us. They wonderfully got us involved which helped out in making our faith in Jesus Christ grow and be alive. We found peace here and stayed. They also have a great family history library in the SE corner for finding my roots :) And everyone is welcome and no one passes a plate.
