This review is for Sarai, specifically. She made our experience—through the most difficult time our family has yet had to face—bearable. Working with her took an inherently complicated process from difficult and confusing to surprisingly painless and clear. She was always gracious, gentle, kind, compassionate, and helpful. God bless you, ma’am. Thank you for your care and professionalism.

I would like to thank Miguel who was extremely helpful and extremely compassionate during my most difficult time. He was very detailed and made sure I understood what different options I had. He was able to fulfill my expectations and beyond considering the circumstances. I had the most positive experience working with Miguel I give 10 stars ⭐️

I’m leaving this review specifically for Nathan. He was absolutely stellar. He normally works at Greenlawn NE, but he filled in for my wife’s stepfather’s viewing at the SW location. He was compassionate, helpful, patient, and just all around very professional and helpful. He made a difficult event (with a lot of people) flow smoothly without ever making us feel rushed. Thank you, Nathan.

Our mother passed away in Feb. 2026. She already had a plan in place with Greenlawn NE. We met Sarai at Greenlawn NE on the following Saturday after her death, and she helped us go through the details and explain the remaining decisions that were needed to go through the burial process. The service was held in March in the onsite chapel and everything went very smoothly. They helped us connect with the right people to provide a deacon, and some music for the service as well. The were quick to respond to any questions we had, and helped with the extra paperwork we needed to do a burial at the Veteran's cemetery. Sarai and the staff were wonderful through this whole experience. I highly recommend Greenlawn NE.

Frequently Asked Questions About Greenlawn Cemetery NE

How does the cost for a funeral ceremony compare to the cost of a memorial service or celebration-of-life?

Attempting to compare the costs of the three is rather like trying to compare oranges, mangoes and apples; it can't be done. Perhaps it's easier to see funerals, memorial services and celebrations-of-life as three points on a spectrum–a range, if you like–of ceremonial formats. At one end is the funeral; at the other, the celebration-of-life, and in the middle, the memorial service. The funeral is most commonly the most expensive of the three; which is especially easy to see when you consider the cost of the casket is a significant expense. The cost of any of the three is totally dependent on the choices you make during the arrangement conference.

Is it necessary to have flowers at the ceremony?

Flowers create a background of warmth and beauty which adds to the dignity and consolation of the funeral service. "Necessary" may not be the right word; but there's no doubt flowers at a funeral or other end-of-life ceremony serve many valuable purposes including a means of a visual expression of sympathy, love and respect or a means of lending support.
