  It’s hard to think about an enormous subject like what to do with the remains of a loved one, when you’re already grieving their loss of health, the strain it puts on your families as you make time to care for them , and trying to give them the most dignified and loving sending. But here to say that I’m so honored and fortunate to have been in John’s care through Hilgenfeld. He’s sensitive in his communications and you can feel he’s really looking out for you. He was accessible thru communications and always supportive. It’s another way to wrap up how my father went to his eternal resting home. No regrets. And informed decisions every step of the way. By having someone help usher his way. I’m so grateful to John and the associates at Hilgenfeld who all were professional and treated my father with utmost care and respect. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

From our first meeting, the staff treated our family with kindness, patience, and respect. Every detail was handled with thoughtfulness and dignity, and their support made the process much easier to bear.

  Our brother passed in March. After calling 5 or 6 other places Hilgenfeld was the first place that was able to take in my brother. We were very pleased with the service we were provided. I live in Tennessee, so to receive the treatment we did was a breath of fresh air. Edith was Fantastic. She treated us like we were family. I would highly recommend Hilgenfeld Mortuary and Edith!!

  They took such good care of my mom when she passed away recently. Daniel was the representative working with us and he took a lot of the burden off of my shoulders. The service at Cathedral Memorial Gardens was absolutely beautiful and there were zero glitches. Real pros and nice people. Thanks Dan.
