Founded in 1992 and headquartered at EAC Discovery Park, The Gila Watershed Partnership strives to protect and improve the overall health of the Upper Gila Watershed of Arizona. Our watershed issues affect everything we do. Both the quality and quantity of our water plays an important part in our lives.
We are shaping a new vision for our watershed; one that includes improvements to our environment, economy, and quality of life for all members of the community. While we live in a rich rural environment, we have issues that include impaired rivers, soil erosion, invasive weeds, and flooding. We design programs and projects to address our issues and seek funding to implement them.
