I had a motorhome that I wanted to donate to this company told them exactly what it was they insisted on pictures from Mesa Arizona to Show Low Arizona which is about 300 miles round trip did I get a phone call the day that they were supposed to tow it and told me they didn't want it supposedly this company doesn't know how to use maps, the tow Woodies Roadside and Repair charge me for the tow,to remove it from the lot I would pay the tow company before I would donate to charity that wants vehicle ever again It cost me about three grand after I had it cleaned out for them and had it towed Plus my gas don't bother donating to this organization they don't deserve it And they harass you then they reject you day or the day of the tow last minute type of company -I guess they can spend money on the blankets but to tow a vehicle for get it STAY AWAY FROM THIS ORGANIZATION Note to Wounded Warriors stop crying for donations if you can't read maps and a Kelly Blue book that would have told you the value of the motor home and any other vehicle Keep ordering those blankets and tshirts!! Take me off All of your list will not be donating to your charity in the future not with the incompetent people that you have working for your business aka charity (😆)

I put 2 stars instead of 1 because of my prior experience with them that was good, 5+ years ago now. I'm not sure what's happened there since then. All I know is that for this past year (it is now March 2026), every time I try to sign up for something that Heidi Heniger is in charge of/decides who gets selected to attend, I DON'T get selected. It's supposed to be based on if you've attended an event recently (as in, those who haven't attended an event recently get selected first), how many events you have attended recently, etc. In this last year, I've attended 3 events: a 12 week Personal Training FYI session (not sure if there is a limit in capacity for that) in May 2025 and two sessions for the First Friday Walking Club (which I don't believe anyone is denied as it is outside at a park, so there is essentially unlimited space) in June and September 2025. Prior to that, going back to July 2024, I attended 3 virtual events and 1 in-person event. In this last year, I have attempted to sign up for a spring training game, a garden event and this recent sound bath event. All have been with Heidi and all have been denied. After this recent denial for the sound bath event I emailed Heidi and asked if there is something I needed to do to get selected. I never received a response. Since I didn't receive any emails or communication from Heidi, I spoke with another WWP POC of mine at a different office since I can't seem to get ahold of anyone at this office here in Phoenix. After they spoke, I was told that the reason for my continual denial was some coding thing that was wrong in the system. Yet I can get approved for online things or when someone else runs it, but not Heidi? And Heidi never contacted me about this? Never responded to my email when I asked what can I do to get approved? All I received was the standard denial email stating "Regretfully, I am unable to accept your registration for this event due to the high interest and limited number of spots available." Yeah, that's BS and we all know it. Oh, and I had signed up 8 days prior to this denial email AND the sound bath event stayed open for registration for at least a day after I received this denial as well. I have still received no communication from Heidi. If this coding error was truly the case, you'd think she would want to respond to me herself and clear things up. I don't know what is going on here...are these events actually being held? Do others get approved for these and it's just me who keeps getting denied? Or are they just listing events but not actually doing them and just pocketing the money? Whatever is going on, they need to be looked into and it seems like they need a HUGE overhaul.

I love this Project. Both my husband's were vets. One navy and one Air force. I've been giving for many years.

Great organization who has helped veterans on a massive scale. Under appreciated due to the size. I guess you can't make everybody happy.
