  I want to start by saying that I know my child is safe and loved while he is here, and that is incredibly important to me. There are teachers who genuinely care about the children, and I appreciate that. Unfortunately, the amount of staff turnover over the last year has been extreme and honestly really sad to see. It feels like we rarely have the same teacher for longer than a month before there is another change. For young children who thrive on consistency and familiar faces, that is disappointing and concerning as a parent. We also used to have such an amazing experience walking in every morning because of Ms. Jennifer at the front office. She always greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome, knew the families, and genuinely made you feel happy to be there. I could walk in having a rough morning and somehow leave feeling better just because of how welcoming she was. Unfortunately, we hardly see her anymore, and her absence is definitely felt. The director and assistant director are okay, but the warmth and welcoming atmosphere that used to be there just isn’t the same. In the mornings, there isn’t much of a greeting or interaction, and while that may seem like a small thing, it really does set the tone for both the parent and the child starting their day. I truly want to love this center because I know my child is cared for, but I really hope leadership takes a serious look at the amount of staff turnover and the overall atmosphere for families. Having consistent teachers and a warm, welcoming front office makes such a huge difference, especially when you’re trusting someone with your child every day.

  ***Updated 3/16/2026*** We absolutely love Bright Horizons – Downtown Phoenix. We briefly tried another option and came right back because nothing compares to the care and support our family receives here. It’s been incredible watching our daughter grow alongside many of the same children she started with in the infant room. Her physical and mental growth at Bright Horizons has been incredible. We are so pleased with her learning environment. The location adds even more peace of mind—just a minute from both a fire station and a police station—and the staff is consistently attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. Knowing she’s in such a safe, nurturing environment makes our workdays so much easier. Truly an exceptional place for families. It will be bittersweet when the day comes to transition to kindergarten. We love BH!! Original review 2023: We loved our time and experience with the Bright Horizons - Downtown Phoenix location. The staff was fun and supportive. Not only did our child grow and learn but I can honestly say that we are better parents for our time spent at BH. Location was perfect for us and we truly felt safe leaving our child. Thank you, BH!

  Our 2 yo has been enrolled at Bright Horizons since she was 3 months old and our experience has been wonderful. Our daughter loves school and her teachers. The staff are very friendly and knows each child and has a great connection with them. We are moving out of town and are very sad about leaving this daycare. I cannot recommend this center enough!
