- KMK MonsonApr 7, 20265.0I didn't actually attend the Ajo congregation, but as a member of the stake (geographical area) with a volunteer position that alotts him keys, my husband took me on a little tour of this beautiful and historic (in my eyes) building. The main building has the chapel, multi-purpose room (gym), relief society (women's group) room, a huge and incredible kitchen, bathrooms and baptismal font with a small attached room. The chapel has a cry room, something my mom says the buildings all used to have. Through the back doors, you enter an outdoor courtyard lined with a few classrooms. Ok, so building aside, I've attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my entire life. If you want to learn about Jesus Christ, His earthly mission, and sacrifice for all humankind this is where you do it. You will not find a sweeter peace or stronger Spirit that you will here. The people in Ajo are pretty cool too. Give it a try.
