Through a great deal of research online, my family children, and their spouses researched across the country.Because no one lives in dallas and they looked for the place , they thought I would be most comfortable and I know what they considered , they considered location and price and living conditions and the fact I could bring my cat very important and activities and would I be Comfortable, I had no actual medical problems to deal with.So it was mainly living conditions and accessibility for me and it has been the best decision that they made and I went with themOkay.
The Monarch was absolutely the best place for my father! I only wish I could have convinced him to make the move sooner. The staff are so caring and competent. Melissa, the activities director, could get him to join any activity. He was a quite man to watch him flourish late in life was such a joy. I attribute that to everyone who worked there. Kim and Carol made the transition to and from the Monarch stress free.
First time in The Monarch, visiting a new resident family member. Very nice, pleasant staff, large rooms, and a happy client.

Had lunch with my family member. Always a great experience.
My mother called Monarch Richardson home for 6 years before she passed at age 89. The kind staff truly became a second family to us, always keeping open dialogue as we walked through her final years. It helped more than words can express that we never felt alone over the years, and everyone worked hard to assist her in every way possible. They have wonderful activities for the residents, beautifully maintained rooms and great meals, always considering the residents health needs. Highly recommend this facility !
