- DLD. LarsonJan 7, 20235.0I love this church. I grew up attending this church, and the people here are wonderful -- they care about each other and truly strive to be disciples of Christ. We have great guidelines for our members to live healthy and happy lives, including living the law of chastity, abstaining from coffee, alcohol and drugs, and paying a 10% tithing. We also believe that revelation continues in our present day through a living prophet. I attend here every time I come back to visit family, and I attend in my present location in the Twin Cities, MN every other Sunday. Congregations consist of members who live within a certain geographic boundary. It's a lay ministry, so we don't choose where we attend by the pastor we like. We all serve voluntarily in various capacities. For example, I am president of the Primary, or the children's organization.
