*By Appointment Only Monday through Saturday*
No matter your story, we welcome you to join us as we all try to be a little bit better, a little bit kinder, a little more helpful—because that’s what Jesus taught. We are a diverse community of followers of Jesus Christ and welcome all to worship here. We fellowship together as well as offer youth and children’s programs.
Jesus Christ can make you a better person. You can make us a better community. Come worship with us. Church services are held every Sunday. Visitors are always welcome.
I would prefer not to post, however, I have called the church number posted on website numerous times and never an answer. The Retreat subdivision is a 55+ neighborhood with the average age of 80. During the power outage during hurricane Beryl, members of the church had to be asked to leave the neighborhood two nights in a row. They were literally knocking on doors with no porch lights on, while residents were in darkness in their homes. Residents complained to me (HOA President). I personally spoke with the two young men and told them not to return to the neighborhood after dark, or the police would be called. Certainly not intentionally, but they were literally scaring some of the elderly residents. Next night, they came back again, near dark . A sign is posted at the entrance of the neighborhood specifying no solicitation of any kind. Well, last week, 2 women came after dark and are seen on ring cameras. One resident was ill and in bed and they kept ringing her bell and banging until she finally got up and asked them to leave. Another resident who requires a walker to ambulate, was too scared to answer her door after dark and just sat in fear. We understand that no harm is meant and your members are doing what they feel they are called to do. However, if they do not call and make an appointment with the resident before arrival, and they continue to arrive after dark, the police will be called. Again, I am sorry to post this publicly, but no one answers the phone at the church. Respectfully, Bobbie Ott, The Retreat Homeowner’s Association

I have tried calling this number on the website with no luck of getting ahold of anyone. Me or my family is not member of the congregation but no longer wants the witnesses arriving at our home, trying to be nice about my entitled decisions. If someone reads this review it isn’t to bash, just differences in believes make me unappreciate their presence. Have a good day, and God bless. 🙂
