No joke, my experience as a customer was the most enjoyable that I ever experienced at any business in my life. Funeral Director Stephanie Jezbera at every point of contact offered assistance and finesse of the highest degree event planners. Whether it be by phone, text or in person at Schmidt Funeral Home, Katy, our local Church or the internment 2 hrs. away. Stephanie was always present and actively engaged. Her involvement was that of a trusted friend or family member. I particularly enjoyed her ability to smoothly coordinate contacts for all the events, even an outside casket vendor that I chose. Stephanie’s compassion and sensitivity was hands down the best. Our family thanks you.

Schmidt Funeral Home, and Caitlin in particular, tremendously helpful and kind after my husband died unexpectedly. I’m thankful for Schmidt’s ability to accommodate our need to delay the service for an uncertain length of time while waiting for an autopsy report. A small family funeral service was eventually held in a comfortable and quiet private room at the Funeral Home, with the most beautiful flower arrangement, the 100+ photo slide show we’d created, and my husband’s body in an open casket. I was amazed at how well he looked - as if he was just asleep. The staff did a fantastic job of making a very sad day the best it could possibly be. I would recommend this business and its team to anyone.

In the most devastating time of my life, Jay went above and beyond any expectation I could ever have. From the first phone call to the last good bye every interaction has been respectful, understanding, and kind. I’ll be choosing to plan my future funeral here as well. It was all beautiful.
