From my first initial interaction with Stacy, who is the kindest woman you will ever meet, to the transition to a director Ms. Christy and Autumn were amazing! During a very difficult time, these ladies showed a tremendous amount of kindness and grace! Ms. Christy's memorial folder was one of the best I have ever seen. She took the bits of pictures and information I provided and made it so beautiful. This is my third (3) time using their services and highly recommend them. Thank you Cypress Fairbanks funeral home.

Everything was fine, but there was a lady who was very rude. I've been to other funeral places who were friendly and respectful but this lady was having a bad attitude.

Chau and the funeral team did an amazing job at honoring my mom, Nina. They were able to work with us during a very difficult time and in a very fast and efficient manner. They made sure we didn't feel pressured and always made sure someone was there to help us and answer any questions.

All I can say is they are amazing. Christy and the whole team made the situation easy and bearable. They handled everything with ease and I could not recommend them any more highly. From the first phone call to the end of the funeral, and beyond they have made this process seamless.

Frequently Asked Questions About Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home

What is the purpose of embalming?

Embalming sanitizes and preserves the body. Embalming makes it possible to lengthen the time between death and the final disposition, allowing family members time to arrange and participate in the type of service most comforting to them.

Does a dead body have to be embalmed, according to law?

The Federal Trade Commission says, "Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial."
