Both Monica's need their own practice. They're wonderful. And the CNAs are great. But I've not been impressed with anything else or anyone else. They don't communicate, there are wild inconsistencies between midwives, and the front staff doesn't know their own policies or protocols. An unexpected move has spared me, and now I get to go back to my old doctor, and I'm relieved to be done with the place. I was very scared to deliver my baby with these people. It probably wouldn't be so bad if you could stick to one midwife your entire pregnancy, but this midwife roulette thing is a joke. I was literally never told the same thing twice. 0/10 do not recommend, especially if you're a first time mom or you don't already have a decent knowledge of pregnancy and your own body. If you do have to use them for insurance reasons, ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF. You have to.
Edit: They are now refusing to release my medical records, saying there's no record of speaking with me or of my request. I have requested it, as has my new doctor, both officially on paper. I've been given phone numbers to call, and they all send me back to the midwives. Tried patient advocacy, they couldn't help because they're basically their own business and the hospital has no authority over them. I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant and cannot see a doctor without these records. This has been going on for a month now. I've not received any prenatal care during this time, they're saying it's going to be another two weeks before they release the records, and they all fully aware that they are preventing me from receiving care at this point. It's looking like I'll just have to show up to a local ER when I go into labor, and I want everyone to be aware of what they've done. I am livid. DO NOT COME HERE.
