The daycare itself is clean looks wise, but the overall experience with the staff and daily operations has been very disappointing. I received “behavioral reports” almost every day for my two year old, usually stating that he “does not listen.” With my background and degree in Early Childhood Development, I understand what is developmentally appropriate for this age, and I expected more patience, guidance, and positive support rather than constant negative notes.
I was also notified that my child and other children were repeatedly opening the fire door that leads directly outside. This was extremely concerning and felt like a significant safety issue.
Each morning was chaotic. All the children were grouped together, and I was never sure which classroom to bring my child to. Pickup was just as frustrating my child was often missing socks or shoes, and my youngest frequently had a full, unchanged diaper despite having plenty of diapers available. It did not feel like basic care needs were being consistently met.
Based on my professional background, it was clear to me that many of the staff members may not have the patience or approach needed to work effectively with young children. My kids often cried or resisted going, and they were genuinely unhappy there.
I’m relieved that we no longer have to deal with these issues. For the sake of your own peace of mind, as well his child safety I personally would not recommend this daycare based on our experience.

We have loved our time with Highview Learning Center. My kids started around three weeks ago and LOVE it! They both really enjoy seeing their teachers, and I am always getting picture updates through out the day. Ms. Breanna is always so prompt in addressing any of my questions or concerns. We love coming in the morning and hearing worship music playing. A great place to take your little ones!

Stay away!
First, I’ll start with what most of the negative responses mention, the director. She’s the most combative individual I’ve ever met in the child care industry. Growing up I was raised by a single mom that was a daycare teacher/director. I often would go there after school up until high school so I do have some memories of the environment and professionalism needed to conduct business in this industry. This director lacks the professionalism and abilities to be successful in that role.
Second, children need stability in a learning environment. My son who is almost 3, had multiple different teachers in the same classroom over the course of 6-7 months. Kids can’t be expected to learn the curriculum and learn different teaching styles. One of his teachers also had her child in his class, as soon as this teacher took over we started to receive word that our child was acting up. Keep in mind the behaviors he was “supposedly” displaying weren’t behaviors he was expressing at home. He was written up for his behavior many times which eventually led to a meeting with the director about action planning which we were told would be us “partnering” together. After reviewing the write ups, the vast majority had nothing listed for “outcome” so we had no clue if they were actually attempting to correct the behavior. The scary part was we found many write ups we had never seen before, these write ups clearly had my wife’s forged signature on them. The director’s response to this was, “those teachers don’t work here anymore, I don’t know what you want me to do?” Again no accountability.
During this review there was nothing about partnering together. We were simply told that if he had another incident he would be kicked out of daycare. We decided to pull our kids out of this daycare and take them somewhere else. It’s been a month at the new location and the behaviors Highview was saying our son was displaying haven’t been mentioned once by the new location.
Overall, an unpleasant experience and would recommend others to stay away.

We have been so pleased with this daycare. This is our first daycare experience and I can’t imagine it going any better. Our daughter is always happy when we pick her up. She is always clean. The staff are friendly and genuinely care for our kiddos. This daycare was worth the 12-18 month wait.
