Highview Learning Center is a non-denominational, Christian childcare center. We are dedicated to educating and guiding the children God has trusted to us and commit to approach all activities from this perspective.
We have loved our time with Highview Learning Center. My kids started around three weeks ago and LOVE it! They both really enjoy seeing their teachers, and I am always getting picture updates through out the day. Ms. Breanna is always so prompt in addressing any of my questions or concerns. We love coming in the morning and hearing worship music playing. A great place to take your little ones!

Stay away!
First, I’ll start with what most of the negative responses mention, the director. She’s the most combative individual I’ve ever met in the child care industry. Growing up I was raised by a single mom that was a daycare teacher/director. I often would go there after school up until high school so I do have some memories of the environment and professionalism needed to conduct business in this industry. This director lacks the professionalism and abilities to be successful in that role.
Second, children need stability in a learning environment. My son who is almost 3, had multiple different teachers in the same classroom over the course of 6-7 months. Kids can’t be expected to learn the curriculum and learn different teaching styles. One of his teachers also had her child in his class, as soon as this teacher took over we started to receive word that our child was acting up. Keep in mind the behaviors he was “supposedly” displaying weren’t behaviors he was expressing at home. He was written up for his behavior many times which eventually led to a meeting with the director about action planning which we were told would be us “partnering” together. After reviewing the write ups, the vast majority had nothing listed for “outcome” so we had no clue if they were actually attempting to correct the behavior. The scary part was we found many write ups we had never seen before, these write ups clearly had my wife’s forged signature on them. The director’s response to this was, “those teachers don’t work here anymore, I don’t know what you want me to do?” Again no accountability.
During this review there was nothing about partnering together. We were simply told that if he had another incident he would be kicked out of daycare. We decided to pull our kids out of this daycare and take them somewhere else. It’s been a month at the new location and the behaviors Highview was saying our son was displaying haven’t been mentioned once by the new location.
Overall, an unpleasant experience and would recommend others to stay away.

I cannot recommend Highview enough. As a working mom, I have struggled with finding good childcare over the years. I have worked at centers myself in the past just to keep them close while I tried to restart my career. The love and welcomeness I have felt from this staff and management since starting over the summer has been like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. The teachers and Ms bre the director are literal angels in disguise. My kids come home so happy and thrilled about their day. They have laughed, cried, and shared so many hugs with us through all of our personal journeys. I could not ask for a better facility or group of people to share in helping me be there for my babies when I cannot. They truly love and care for you like family. I cannot praise this wonderful group of people enough. They have all been such a god send to our family. We love you Highview!!

Everyone is so friendly and feel like family. It’s so nice knowing that your baby (babies) are safe and cared for when you have to be apart. They are creative with fun activities for the kiddos. Clean and fun environment!

Our family is so grateful for our teachers and administration at Highview! We have never been part of a daycare that puts so much effort and care into family and community involvement. Outside of ALL of the hours they put in during the week, they consistently plan for evening and weekend events for families to encourage parent involvement and further connection. Our girls have so many opportunities for fun days (water day, spirit weeks, dress up days, etc.) that they look forward to. We always look forward to receiving the pictures their teachers send during the day - especially on those fun days!
Our girls often talk about their teachers and how much they love them (and vice versa!). We have seen them be patient, fun, kind and genuinely excited to see and take care of o our kids. They are intentional in their communication with us to let us know how the girls are doing - it is obvious they care about their progress and development. In rooms of so many littles with so many big feelings, the teachers are able to maintain a sense of calm that is beyond appreciated and admired.
We are so thankful for Highview! Having a place we trust to take our kiddos every day is no small thing!
