Grandmother a long time ago was misled into believing she had paid for her cremation and services (totaling $800ish). Upon her passing it was relayed to me that she had paid for the "right to be buried" in the cemetery. She had requested her ashes be buried between her two deceased children, which was written in all 27 of her wills (lol) and also acknowledged by the funeral home (Sterling was wonderful). We had an appointment to sign paperwork and the cemetery rep didn't call nor show up. When arranging the burial times, I was given a sales pitch, which I declined politely. During the burial itself, we found out that they were not burying her where we thought, and it was a spot 2 plots over. We tried to address this and the lady pulled out her phone to pull up the contract showing my dead grandmothers signature to show us all "no this is what she wanted, she signed right here." After the family spoke about memories, we were asked to stand back so that a young boy could take the tent down and we had to watch him dig a hole for 15 minutes. I would have presumed this would be done already. During this time that the boy was digging, the cemetery representative decided this is a good time to try and sell the family plots. Now a week has gone by and she has reached out to me and my sister to see if anyone is interested in pricing for what she had offered at the service. This is the most disgusted I have ever been at the way a business is handled. I do not recommend anyone bring their loved one to rest here, as you are just a business negotiation and once paperwork is signed and money is paid, you nor the death in your family no longer matter.

It is the perfect peaceful, uncluttered final resting place. I have never had to pick up trash or walk in water to visit my parents.
