If you care about your loved ones please do not send them here. I don't where they get they their staff from, but they are not professional at all. The CNA's, Nurses and the staff simply do not care at all. I come from line of nurses in my family and have been to plenty of facilities such as this one and none of them are like this. Whoever answers the phones there is so rude. The staff treats my sister and everyone else like gum stuck on the bottom of their shoe. There is absolutely nothing good to say about this place. If I had the means my sister would be moved from there immediately! 100 do NOT RECOMMEND!!

The building on the outside does look a little dilapidated and it didn't really give the impression of improvement. My family member was there only about 24 hours but gave three descriptions. She wasn't given pain medicine for 18 hours, but when she was released into my care, they informed her she could have medicine and even more to ensure the pain was gone. Some of the staff at night were a bit unsympathetic. The food she was given was sub-standard but that might have been do to her having the Covid Virus recently. She did feel very unsafe as if she had lost her freedom. When she called me my heart was driven to action. I immediately was there in 15 minutes and she was released within 45 minutes. Not all staff are to be held responsible and shouldn't be given any criticism. Some advisement would go along way, such as understanding discharge procedures on medication. Proper tone of voice and a smile so communication is professional and relieves tension after having been sent to a unfamiliar place. My family member was not physically harmed, verbally abused, or mentally abused. It was simply the lack of effort in taking responsibility for those in they're care and being courteous at night to speak softly and to not slam any doors. I will continue with another evaluation after my loved one gets rest. As for now I give a round of applause to Susan who is new to the facility but was very kind in her demeanor and gave me full attention. My loved one also confirmed that a Carlson Reed for physical for physical therapy showed professionalism and I concur after having met him. The Best thing for now is to file any reports of misconduct, neglect, or unsanitary conditions to the state of Texas Medical Board so that they make evaluate this personally. I am not condemning the facility based on seeing for myself but my family's alarming concern. I would consider with caution this facility as for now and have a walk-through for yourself. Be ready to keep a record of any problems so that training can be done. A correction is always a positive response with exception of criminal violations to your loved ones. I hope this is helpful and will give updates as they come. I hope all of your family who must attend this facility has a more positive review then this unfortunate introduction.

This is a beautifully remodeled facility! Great activities for long term residents also, they offer private rooms for the rehab patients.

When your loved one needs to go into a nursing home, the process of locating the right place is daunting. The day Staff at this facility took good care of my Dad. But it seemed that most of the theft occurred over night. The issue is the Management. Mis- communication. No communication. My dad went into cardiac arrest in January. Had another family member not been there at the time, I would have never known. They NEVER called to tell me. I was able to be with my Dad in his last moments. But I am still so angry that they did not notify me that he had been transported to the hospital. And they recently sent ME a bill for some ridiculous charge. I think I'll charge them instead. Pass this place up. There are better places.
