- LALaVern AndrewsNov 28, 20251.0Hi, I haven't been to the Mitchell, South Dakota ward since 1955. I was baptized July 2,1955 in Lake Mitchell by two wonderful missionaries. We were just a branch that met in the Court House on Sunday's. I have just enjoyed 70 years of being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They have missionaries that actually go out and help people find the word of God. They have lunches periodically picnics and so on. A church that welcomes everyone. Like it should be

I always feel welcome and loved by the people here in this church. It feels like home whenever I attend church here (at 10 AM on Sundays). I definitely encourage everyone reading this who is at all interested in visiting this church to come to church and experience it for yourself.
