- JKJudy von KummerMay 23, 20243.0Built a house here 2 1/2 years ago. Hard to review where you live but here it goes. I wouldn't recommend building a new house here as Pulte is a NIGHTMARE to deal with. I would recommend buying a resale with the caveat that you get a good home inspection. We who have built have dealt with their ineffectual "Warranty Department" and gotten the kinks worked out with all the frustrations that entails. You might get lucky and have all the projects such as landscaping, patios, fences etc. completed by previous owner and not have to go thru all that entails also. Location in Myrtle Beach is great, you can drive your golf cart to the private beach club (The Ocean Club) that comes with your ownership in Del Webb or to the grocery store and in some instances Dr offices. Nice community almost totally built out.
