  Recently moved my father here from Charleston and have been very happy with the facility. The campus has beautiful grounds and a caring staff. He has received very good service at meals and loves the food. Many of the residents have welcomed him and he has joined some activities already. I highly recommend this complex and its dedicated staff.

  Haywood Estates had some less than stellar times in the post-covid period. I am happy to report, with new Ownership and the current Management, Haywood Estates is exactly where I want my Mom to live. The staff is wonderful, the activities are varied and offer something for everyone. They have outings and they also have groups come in to offer music, meetings and information sessions. As this facility is independent living, they do offer additional services. That gives ME peace of mind. This facility gets 5 stars.

  When we entered Hayward estates we were greeted warmly by the staff, which eased some of the tension my mom was feeling. After the tour we went into the office and Chris addressed our questions and kept my mom engaged in the conversation by asking her opinion on things, which she appreciated. During our drive home she was convinced she wanted to move. She moved into Hayward on August 30th and has made new friends and socializing with her neighbors, which is nice to see and she seems to enjoy the activities. Her only complaint is they give her too much food. I guess that’s a good complaint. 🙂. Thank you Chris for your patience and always providing timely responses to our questions and thank you to all the staff for making her experience enjoyable.
