We recently had a loved one pass away while receiving hospice care at Foothills. She had resided in the Memory Care resident area for 4 years. The staff was attentive to her needs, especially as her issues progressed. She was assisted in bathing and dressing. Her meds were given properly. She was fed well balanced meals that were consistently prepared and presented in such a way as to encourage eating. And socialization and participation in events was always encouraged. After a terrible experience at Cascades in Greenville, we are so thankful that we moved her to Foothills to live out her days as happy and content as possible.

My mother in law was in independent living for 20 years at a large retirement home in Greenville, SC. As she aged, the retirement home just continued to grow and no one knew her name and there were no personal touches. We decided to move her to Foothills after her husband died because she wasn’t doing things on her own. Foothills is the most personable, loving, attentive atmosphere around! EVERY staff member knows her name and greets her. She is still in independent living and they encourage her to come to the cafeteria and bingo along with a multitude of other activities. They offer everything under one roof. She can even attend church on Sundays in the chapel. I could go on and on, but we feel SO fortunate to have her here and would encourage anyone that is looking into a retirement home to get on their waiting list!

My husband Tim recently spent 3 weeks in rehab at Foothills after 2 major orthpaedic surgeries. Having been the primary care giver for my mother and her sister for a combined 16 years in separate nursing homes I really was not looking forward to the stay. My former experiences with family and friends had left a bitterness toward nursing facilities.
To my surprise Foothills was an amazing place. The accomodations were exceptional and the staff attentive and warm. Rehab exceded expectations. They had my husband ready to come home much sooner than we expected. Thank you to everyone there.
