Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are considered houses of God, a place of holiness and peace separate from the preoccupations of the world. They provide a place where Church members make formal promises and commitments to God. They are also the place where the highest sacraments of the faith occur — the marriage of couples and the "sealing" of families for eternity. Temples serve as the only place where ceremonies such as baptism and eternal marriage can be performed on behalf of those who have died. Temples point Latter-day Saints to Jesus Christ and their eventual life with Him.

Visited from out of town and decided to stop by. Everyone was very kind and helped us even with some missing items for the session. The temple president is awesome.

Even though the LDS temple is designated solely for their members, it is still a very serene and beautiful place to walk around and enjoy its beauty.

Simple as this; it's the house of God. In it I feel peace like nowhere else. There are so many subtle details that point to God, like the shapes in the woodwork, or the arch at the front desk that is symbolic of the empty tomb. Je peux même le dis-le en français, c’est la maison de Dieu. Ici je ressens la paix!
